台灣熊垂直挑戰賽在新北市八里區的指定土路賽道上舉行,並非實際於各挑戰名稱所代表的山脈地點(如:聖母峰、玉山、科修斯科山)舉行。這些名稱為象徵性使用,旨在代表每個挑戰的爬升目標與精神意涵,而非實際地理位置。所有參賽者將透過在官方賽道上重複多次爬升路段來完成所選擇的總爬升挑戰。
Course Disclaimer
The Taiwan Bear Challenge takes place on a designated dirt track in Bali, New Taipei City, and not at the actual mountain locations represented in the challenge category names (e.g., Everest, Yushan, Kosciuszko). These names are used symbolically to reflect the elevation targets and the spirit of each challenge, rather than their physical locations. All participants will complete their selected elevation goals by repeating loops along our official race course.

我們提供多種挑戰,適合不同耐力水平和年齡層的參賽者:
超級挑戰:
- 聖母峰挑戰 – 在34小時內完成139次上升(總爬升高度8,848米)。
- 聖母峰接力挑戰(4人隊伍) – 團隊共同達成8,848米的總爬升,每位成員至少完成10圈,在30小時內完成。
中級挑戰:
- 玉山挑戰 – 在18小時內完成62次上升(總爬升高度3,952米)。
- 科西丘斯科山挑戰 – 在8小時內完成35次上升(總爬升高度2,228米)。
- 桌山挑戰 – 在4小時內完成17次上升(總爬升高度1,085米)。
青少年與家庭挑戰:

We offer a variety of challenges catering to different endurance levels and age groups:
Ultra Challenges:
Everest Challenge – Complete 139 ascents (8,848m elevation gain) within 34 hours.
Everest Relay Challenge (4-Person Team) – Teams collectively reach 8,848m elevation, with each member completing at least 10 laps, within 30 hours.
Intermediate Challenges:
Yushan Challenge – Achieve 62 ascents (3,952m elevation gain) within 18 hours.
Kosciuszko Challenge – Complete 35 ascents (2,228m elevation gain) within 8 hours.
Table Mountain Challenge – Finish 17 ascents (1,085m elevation gain) within 4 hours.
Youth & Family Challenges:
Little Cubs Challenge (Ages 5-10) – Complete 4 ascents (256m elevation gain) within 2 hours.
Young Explorers Challenge (Ages 10-15) – Complete 10 ascents (640m elevation gain) within 4 hours.

Yes, age requirements are as follows:
- Little Cubs Challenge – Ages 5-10.
- Young Explorers Challenge – Ages 10-15.
- Table Mountain Challenge – Participants must be 16 years or older.
- All other challenges – Participants must be 18 years or older. Minors under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
征服聖母峰-台灣站的路線長度和爬升高度是多少?What is the length and elevation of the Taiwan Bear Vertical Challenge course?
每圈路線包括:
- 每圈總距離:800米(400米上坡 + 400米下坡)
- 每次上升的爬升高度:64米
- 爬升至珠穆朗瑪峰所需的圈數:139次上升(共278圈上下坡)
- 完成珠穆朗瑪峰挑戰的總距離:111.2公里
這條路線旨在一步步地將你推向極限,每一圈,每一小步,都是挑戰!
Each lap of the course consists of:
- Total distance per lap: 800m (400m uphill + 400m downhill)
- Elevation gain per ascent: 64m
- Laps to Everest: 139 ascents (278 total laps up and down)
- Total distance for Vertical Challenge: 111.2 km
This course is designed to push you to your limits—step by step, lap by lap!
團隊接力賽有什麼要求?What are the requirements for the Team Relay?
每隊需由4位成員組成,且必須至少包含一位女性參賽者。整個團隊將以接力方式完成「台灣熊登高挑戰賽」,每次僅限一名隊員在賽道上。各隊需自行負責接力交接的安排。
若要獲得正式完賽資格,須符合以下條件:
- 每位隊員必須完成至少10圈完整的上坡與下坡路段。
- 全隊須共同完成總爬升高度8,848公尺,以及賽事格式中規定的全程距離。
Each team must consist of 4 members, including at least one female participant. The team will complete the full Taiwan Bear Vertical Challenge as a relay, with only one member on the course at a time. Teams are responsible for managing their own transitions.
To qualify as official finishers:
- Each team member must complete a minimum of 10 full up-and-down loops.
- The team must collectively complete the total required elevation gain of 8,848 meters and the full race distance, as specified in the event format.
活動中會有補給站嗎?是的!Will there be refreshment points during the event?
活動將在起點/終點區設有補給站,提供:
飲品: 水、茶、運動飲料、無酒精啤酒、可樂、咖啡。
食物: 水果、蔬菜、巧克力、三明治、蛋糕、醃製品、堅果、餅乾、湯和麵條。
我們建議根據個人的飲食需求攜帶額外的營養補給。
Yes! A refreshment station is located at the start/finish area, offering:
Drinks: Water, tea, isotonic drinks, non-alcoholic beer, cola, coffee.
Food: Fruits, vegetables, chocolate, sandwiches, cakes, pickles, nuts, cookies, soup, and noodles.
We recommend carrying additional nutrition as needed, and as per each individuals dietary requirements.
我可以把個人物品存放在哪裡?Where can I store my personal belongings?
我們在起點/終點區提供專門的參賽者區域:
- 主帳篷: 可供休息的區域。
- 個人物品帳篷: 提供兩個小帳篷供參賽者存放個人物品。
- 補給帳篷: 提供食物和飲品的專用區域,供參賽者補充能量。
We provide designated participant areas near the start/finish zone:
Main Tent: Space to rest.
Personal Tents: Two smaller tents available for storing personal gear.
Refreshment Tent: Dedicated area with food and beverages for refueling.
我該如何領取比賽物資?How do I collect my race materials?
所有參賽者將在每場比賽前的說明會期間領取比賽號碼布、計時芯片和活動T恤。
- 領取地點: 主帳篷(起點/終點區)
- 領取時間: 具體時間會在活動日程中公布。
請務必參加說明會,以便獲取最終的比賽指引!
All participants will receive their race bibs, timing chips, and event shirts during the event briefing sessions before each competition.

Absolutely! If you’re new to endurance events, we recommend starting with a shorter challenge, such as:
- Table Mountain Challenge (4 hours, 1,085m elevation gain)
- Kosciuszko Challenge (8 hours, 2,228m elevation gain)
These are excellent stepping stones before attempting longer challenges like Yushan or Everest.
比賽如何計時?How is the race timed?
我們使用電子RFID計時系統,該系統嵌入在參賽者的號碼布中,用於記錄:

We use an electronic RFID timing system embedded in participant bibs to record:
- Lap counts

No, unfortunately, there are no showers available on-site. We recommend bringing wet wipes, towels, and a change of clothes for post-race freshening up.
